Wooden pen blanks are durable, easy to work with, and can be enhanced with various surface finishes.
Grain and Appearance
Teak Burl Wood stands out for its warm, natural coloring and exceptionally lively, high-contrast grain pattern. Its colors range from light creamy beige and sandy tones to warm golden brown and richer medium-brown shades.
Particularly characteristic are the irregular dark brown to almost black grain lines that flow through the wood in gentle waves, curved patterns, and occasionally branching formations. These striking markings give the wood an expressive, almost landscape-like appearance.
The natural transitions between lighter and darker areas of wood create fascinating contrasts and a varied texture. Fine lines, small swirls, and occasionally intricate grain patterns emphasize the individual character of this exceptional wood.
