Crazy Bamboo is the wild and distinctive variation of classic bamboo used in pipe making. Irregular nodes, unusual growth patterns and a striking natural surface make every piece truly unique.

Especially for freehands and individual pipe projects, Crazy Bamboo offers exciting design possibilities. Used as a connection between the shank and the stem, it creates a distinctive accent and an attractive contrast to briar, ebonite or acrylic.

As this is a completely natural material, each piece varies considerably in shape, diameter, colour and structure. It is precisely this unpredictability that gives Crazy Bamboo its special appeal.

Most of these pieces are oval in shape.
